Our Mission
Be part of God's eternal rescue mission through a gift that continues to change lives for generations.
Founded in 2002 by Michael and Carol Hart as a faith-based nonprofit organization, ZOE International is headquartered in Santa Clarita, California, and operates globally in the USA, Thailand, Japan, Mexico, and Australia. Our programs focus on sharing the Gospel with unreached people groups and combating child trafficking through comprehensive efforts in prevention, rescue, and restoration.
Inspired by the Greek word "ZOE," meaning "life," we are committed to bringing hope and transformation to vulnerable communities, as expressed in John 10:10: "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
Our vision is to see every person we reach and every child we rescue experience the fullness of God's life. At ZOE, our work spans prevention, rescue, and restoration, each playing a vital role in ending child trafficking.
Prevention begins by educating communities, identifying children at risk, and equipping local advocates to create lasting, systemic change that stops trafficking before it starts.
Through our rescue efforts, we work alongside law enforcement and government agencies to locate and recover trafficking victims and endangered orphans, ensuring their immediate safety while supporting the prosecution of traffickers to pursue justice.
Restoration is at the heart of all we do. Survivors are welcomed into safe homes where they receive trauma-informed care, emotional and spiritual support, education, and vocational training. Through family reunification and long-term healing, we help them rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose, and hope.
